The programme is designed to improve engineer’s overall knowledge of plant equipment operation and to develop a better understanding of transients and accident sequences applicable to nuclear power plant operation. Emphasis will be placed on understanding plant characteristics and controls.
During the period, three programmes will run on an as and when needed basis. The three Nuclear Engineers Programmes are scheduled to start in June 2020, July 2021 and July 2022. The delivering of the training modules starting with SIC and plant operation (classroom and simulator as per the schedule) will start round August 2020, 2021 and 2022 through to mid / late May of the following years respectively, taking into consideration Public Holidays and end of programme block leave days.
